Debut Author L.R.W. Lee on the Stories for Children Show - Featured Blog Talk Radio World of Ink Network

The Stories for Children show airs on Mondays here on the Featured World of Ink Network. Host Virginia S Grenier brings listeners Best-selling to Debut children's and young adult authors.

This week our guest will debut author L.R.W. Lee, who is touring her middle grade fantasy adventure, Andy Smithson: Blast of the Dragon’s Fury (Book 1) throughout May 2013.

If you love fast-paced adventures with unexpected twists, there’s plenty of action and suspense found throughout the Land of Oomaldee.
Since the age of eight, L.R.W. Lee knew she wanted to write a book. Fortunately or unfortunately, she required of herself that she have something significant to say; she sought to contribute to others in a way that could change their lives. Because a degree in Accounting at Cedarville University, as well as work in public and corporate accounting, did not provide riveting fodder for a best seller, she waited. Upon selling her business in early 2012, she had time to write and, more importantly, something significant to share.

It's Story Time Gather 'Round April 12, 2013

This week on It's Story Time authors Molly Nero and Donna J. Shepherd with join me.

Molly's book is, Smarty Pig. In the story the school year has started but the pigs have given up on school and aren't doing their homework. All but one, that is. Smarty Pig is working hard. Although she gets teased, her report card shows her hard work, while the others fail. They reach out to her, and she becomes their tutor. By creating games in their home that practice skills, Smarty Pig shows them that they can learn, and it's really fun after all. She helps them understand that learning is not just for school, it's for life. http://www.halopublishing.com/bookstore/Smarty-Pig
In Bradybug, Donna's book, what happens when you call a male bug a lady? He gets annoyed and points out all the other male animals that wouldn't be mistaken for females. In a book that's both fact-filled and fun,  tell a delightful story of a spirited little bug that provides a unique perspective on why names can be deceiving.
