link to the show

Please join Marsha Cook on February 27 at 4EST 3CST 2 MT 1PST when her guests will be Michael Embry and Kate Genovese for a discussion about the crisis in America, OPIOIDS.

Michael Embry spent more than 30 years as an award-winning journalist, working for Kentucky newspapers in Madisonville and Lexington; a national news service with stops in New York, Milwaukee, Lexington, and Louisville; and as editor of Kentucky Monthly magazine.

He is now a full-time writer and his latest novel, "Darkness Beyond the Light," was published Nov. 1, 2017. It is the second installment in the John Ross Boomer Lit series, the sequel to "Old Ways and New Days," a finalist in the EPIC Awards for Contemporary Fiction in 2016.

Kate Genovese's story is true and so very touching. She will be discussing the roller coaster ride she was on as she moves from the non-stop joy of mothering, to the realization that her son has become a participant in a deadly epidemic. He was a golden boy growing up in a loving family effortlessly sailing through high school, college and a promotions career. What could be wrong? Everything!

This is going to be a very informative show that will be live and then on demand.
