Mindy Halleck is an award winning author who lives in the Pacific Northwest. In 2015 her short story, A MOTHER’S CONFESSION won first place in the Writer’s Digest Fiction Writing Contest, and another of her short stories, THE FRENCHMAN, won first place in the Edmond’s EPIC Fiction Writing Contest.

Mindy’s debut novel, RETURN TO SENDER was released by Booktrope Books in 2014 and continues to garner 5 Star reviews.

Indie Success

Debuting as an indie author is the most uphill battle a writer could climb. Sandra Brannan has made it to the top of the mountain. JKS worked to get the first book of her Liv Bergen Murder Mystery Series into the hands of booksellers across the country, resulting in the highly-prized Indie Next Pick nomination, a strong endorsement by independent bookstores across the United States, that gives an author the type of buzz in the book industry needed to create legitimacy., Sandra personally visited some of these stores and many more for personal appearances and book signing events. She was the first author be featured in a video in all of the New York City taxicabs the week of Book Expo of America.

Our team now has to turn down requests for Sandra to do media and appearances because she only has so much time in a day!

To date, we’ve now worked with Sandra to launch five novels in this series.
