The Maze Runner & Wild Reviews on the What is Success Show

This is the What is Success Show with hosts Virginia S Grenier and Marsha Cook. This week the hosts will be discussing New York Times Best-selling books "Wild" by Cheryl Strayed and "The Maze Runner" by James Dashner; along with the movie adapations on both books. Host Marsha Casper Cook is the author of six published books and 11 feature-length screenplays, and a literary agent with 15 years of experience. Marsha founded the literary agency Marcus Bryan & Associates in 1996 and achieved signatory status from the Writers Guild of America (WGA) within two years. In that capacity, she has represented more than 100 screenwriters and authors, and has also optioned books to movie production companies. Marsha has spoken about her work and the craft of writing to a wide range of audiences including bookstores, schools, museums and local cable and will continue to speak to the media. Host Virginia S Grenier was voted one of the Top Ten Editors in the Preditors and Editors Reader Poll 2007 & 2008. Grenier is an award-winning children's author, an editor for Halo Publishing, Int., and also, the director of the St. George Book Festival. Our Guest: Kathy Stemke will be talking about writing for hire.

Kathy Stemke has a passion for writing, the arts and all things creative. She has Bachelor degrees from Southern Connecticut State University and Covenant Life Seminary, as well as graduate coursework from New York Institute of Technology and Columbia University. Hanging her hat in the North Georgia Mountains, she has been a teacher, tutor, and writer for many years.

As a freelance writer and ghostwriter, Kathy has published hundreds of articles in directories, websites and magazines. She is a reviewer for Sylvan Dell Publishing. As a retired teacher, Kathy has several activities published with Gryphon House Publishing. Kathy is also part of the team at DKV Writing 4 U.

Jo-Anne Vandermeulen is a Canadian author, expert blogger (offering free marketing tips), producer and hostess of “Authors Articulating” on Blogtalkradio, founder and marketer of the online marketing business—“Premium Promotional Services”, and appears  on many major social media sites (Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, Goodreads, etc.)...as a professional support network for writers. With two books out (including a suspense/romance novel) and a soon to be released nonfiction “Internet Marketing Made Easy”, Jo-Anne has overcome her own obstacles to follow her dreams. An English major, graduated from the University of Saskatchewan (Canada), in 2006 she had to give up teaching when she was diagnosed with an illness that forced her to get out of the classroom. Now, with the novel “Conquer All Obstacles”, and the non-fiction resource books “Premium Promotional Tips for Writers” and Internet Marketing Made Easy”, Jo-Anne  is an inspiration for many.

Debut Show: What is Success?



Debut show on the World of Ink Network here on Blog Talk Radio. This show is all about answering the questions of success and how others have or are reaching their goals. We'll be talking with professionals who have found ways to reach their fan/customer base.

This week's guest is Author John Wilson.

John Wilson is the author of thirty novels and non-fiction books for children, teens and adults, all of which are historically based. His passion for the past and for creating stories has taken him to Roman Germany, Renaissance London, a Civil War prison camp and New Mexico and Arizona in the 1870s. Although his mind leads him throughout history, John's prime interest is in the First and Second World Wars, which are the settings for several of his titles.
